The UAW-Chrysler Technology Training Center (TTC) gives Chrysler that edge. The center provides skills upgrading and introduces advanced technical training to UAW-Chrysler skilled trades and production workers on the latest manufacturing processes.

The same training is being offered on a contractual basis through the Training Outreach Program to other manufacturing companies that seek to help their employees keep pace with rapidly changing technology. Click here for more information about the Training Outreach Program.

Working closely with Local Technical Training Committees, our staff designs courses that meet plant needs. Thousands of workers have sharpened their skills — and learned new ones — at the TTC since it opened in Detroit in 1995. Our state-of-the-art facility in Warren, which began holding classes in 2001, is able to serve even more workers and increase the number of classes they can take.

There now more than 80 skilled trades classes available — all of which are recommended by the American Council on Education for college credit. Click here for a description of the accreditation-recommendation process and a list of classes already recommended. There is also training available for production workers and a variety of other students, from nurses to retirees.
